Choir and Other Activities

• Kol Ha'Leyv is our intergenerational choir, founded and led by Kohenet Avra Shapiro.  It is open to anyone who loves to sing, regardless of ability.  In additional to Leyv Ha-Ir, Kol Ha' Leyv is supported by Kol Tzedek, a sister Reconstructionist congregation in West Philadelphia.  In addition to donations from the participating communities and members, the choir is supported by generous donations from Phil Steel in memory of his beloved wife, Joan Steel.

• Weekly "Shamanu Sessions" where members gather online to learn, listen to each other and share from the heart

• Book group meets monthly to discuss books of Jewish  interest

• Monthly Rosh Hodesh gatherings for women to learn share and grow spiritually.

• We are always open to new program ideas from our members.
