Committees

We have a number of volunteer-run committees that keep us active, engaged and supported.

Ritual
Organizes lay-led Friday evening Home Shabbat and Saturday morning services and helps arrange other worship and holiday occasions.

Membership
Recruits, welcomes, and orients new members. 

Communications
Directs outgoing and incoming communication about our congregation. 

Finance
Creates the annual budget and helps with fund raising.

Education and Programming
Plans educational programs, often with Rabbi Julie, to stimulate Jewish learning. 

Chesed
Provides requested assistance to members of the congregation in times of need. 

Nominating
Finds candidates for the various offices and committees. 

Kehillah Liaison
Represents our community with the Center City Kehillah umbrella organization. 

Tikkun Olam
Creates and communicates opportunities for members to participate in social justice and service events.
