    Congregation Leyv Ha-Ir members are invited to join our weekly Shamanu sessions.  LHI member Joanne Perilstein offers a brief kavanah / intention / learning to prompt heartfelt sharing of our experiences, feelings, thoughts, wishes and memories. Facilitation is done by member Wendy Jordan and others.  And we will listen.

    If you join us in person, masks and proof of vaccination are required.

    The Philadelphian, 2401 Pennsylvania Ave., Social Room A

    Led by Rabbi Julie Greenberg

    Complete kosher-style Passover dinner with wine, grape juice, and choice of salmon, chicken or stuffed eggplant vegetarian entree is included, catered by Little Pete's Restaurant.

    You are welcome to bring your own dinner wine.

    Cost: $54. per adult, $18 per child 3-12 years old

    Guests are welcome at the same prices.

    Due to the generosity of angels donating to our Rabbi's Fund, we are able to lower the price of our seder this year.  Financial circumstances should not prevent anyone from attending.  Contact us for more information.

    Registration and payments must be received no later than Tuesday, March 28. Full refund is available for cancellations received by that date.

    Please consider making an additional donation so that all may attend.

    Congregation Leyv Ha-Ir ~ Heart of the City invites you to our Yom HaShoah/Holocaust Rememberance Day Observance. 

    LHI member Ellen Zilka grew up in Berlin during the ascent of the Nazi regime.  At the tender age of ten, her parents put her on the Kindertransport to England.  In dialog with her daughter and LHI member Diane Zilka, Ellen will talk about her experience during and after the Holocaust.  An audience Q & A session will follow.

Come prepared to feel empowered as we offer you an opportunity to grow from the inside out based on concerns, issues and interests that our members bring to the group.

    We hope to provide unique opportunities for women to share experiences in hopes of creating bonds with one another.

    We look forward to sharing and caring together.
