All are invited to come with us to the Philadelphia premiere run of Lantern Theater Company's production of The Wanderers, a play of Jewish interest.  The Wall Street Journal hailed it as "Absorbing, twisty, and thoughtful... the finest play of the year!"

Two couples – Esther and Schmuli, Abe and Sophie – seem destined for each other, but are torn apart by their conflicting sense of obligation and independence. From the writer of Lantern hits Photograph 51 and The Last Match comes this moving exploration of estrangement and the great human yearning for connection, told with keen humor and deep empathy.

The expected running time is 1 hour and 40 minutes with no intermission, subject to change.

Please note that, regrettably, there is a full flight of steps to the entrance of St. Stephen's Theater and its restrooms have a number of steps as well.  Therefore, the venue is NOT handicap accessible.
