Please join us to welcome Shabbat with song, prayer, Torah and community. Our Kabbalat Shabbat Service will be led by Rabbi Julie Greenberg and Kohenet Avra Shapiro.
Every year at Leyv Ha-Ir~Heart of the City, we take time to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in ways that inspire us to make a difference today. This year our MLK focus will take place during this service. We will be sharing stories from the Civil Rights movement of the 60's, along with insights about what we learned that is useful for today. If you have a three minute story to share, please contact Rabbi Julie ahead of time at 215-843-9592 or at JulieGberg@gmail.com.
If you join us on Zoom, bring your own candles, kiddush and challah to the service to share in the Shabbat celebration.
If you are looking for more time in person with our community, you are welcome to come to the Kennedy House Community Room at 6:30 PM to have dinner with others. Bring your own dinner and beverage, utensils, napkin, etc. We'll supply the tables, chairs and community.
The Zoom info will be emailed to all members. Guests must register here to receive the Zoom info.
